Can you really get over anything and move on?

It's really hard to say this but yes it's actually true. We live n a different world now. People move on much quickly then we think. They make decisions practically and we can be emotional fools to stay In the same place hoping and wishing for them to come back. That's definitely not happening.

They meet new people find new happiness and new reasons to smile. We compromise, cause we cannot be like them. It's just not us. For us things are different. We smile at the world and hide all the tsunamis and hurricanes and nuclear bombs are bursting at the same time within us. We show up a brave face to the world but yes we have learned an important lesson in life, not to do the same mistake again. Generally it doesn't happen again coz the consequences already faced are such high we really dun wanna go through them again. We definitely don't.

We are broken from inside but evolve so strongly that we can stand any calamity in the world. We are ready to face the world with a new face and new us. Small things don't seem to bother us anymore, they seems childish stuff and we aim for higher stakes and that's when you know.... You have grown up and out shined yourself. You have successfully passed another test of life and ready for the next level.

By the time new level is uploaded we get little bit of sunshine in our lives to refresh and be prepared for more. This time stakes are higher... Be careful and play wisely. Don't fall even if you do get up and hit harder... Fight it out and be the winner you always wanted to see within you.

Doing business in India not possible without corruption??

Companies in India are finding it difficult to do business in India because of the growing corruption. Many MNC's have fallen for bribery and violation of US FCPA acts in recent times.
All this maybe a co incidence but US Security and Exchange Commission  thinks otherwise. They plan to enforce an American Law called FCPA - Foreign Corrupt Practices Act to keep a watch.
The US SEC is now investigating over 100 companies including at least half a dozen cases where bribes were allegedly paid in India.
Many companies have the same thing to say about entering into India is that there is a huge pile of system to undergo to enter Indian market, for example there is a central labour law and every state has its own state laws.
Many top managements have been charged of bribery and had to be replaced from time and again. For an MNC if the top management has political background it was considered good few years back now it is treated as negative thing. Hence a background check is done before hiring up especially the top management.
In order to maintain a clear slate, KRAFT started in operations in India and had asked for a lot of reporting, it came in as a shock to the Indians !
Now many companies have left the operations in the hands of the Indians to deal with its laws and compliance their way. They feel setting up businesses in developed nations is much easier as compared to India. WHAT A SHAME!
MNCs may be red-faced today, but Indian businesses too need to learn from their follies. Armed with robust global compliance programmes, it could well be MNCs that emerge smelling like a rose in the years ahead even as wannabe Indian MNCs facing the brunt of bribery laws of developed nations earn the unenviable soubriquet of 'Ugly Indian'.

IKEA's new catalog transforms to furniture

I read an article in the morning and it sounds so awesome.. IKEA's upcoming catalog makes the furniture comes alive.
The real thing is you select the page the furniture u want select for your home. Place the catalog in the area where u want the furniture, and the app helps you to recreate the same in your house in the area in your house and helps u make decision of buying it.
I think this is a really cool and innovative thing anyone has done till now. Only thing to see is how much sales does it help IKEA to increase in the years to come.
IKEA has always been my favorite store for household purchases. The IKEA store in Dubai really amused me the first time I visited it. It really has interesting stuff which you can easily make space for in the house. Be it furniture or any other house decor stuff which you generally don't find anywhere else.
I am eagerly waiting for it to come to India soon and get hold of the items in India as well.

Does MBA teach enterpreneurship?

This is a debate actually I feel.. it all depends on your instincts and your own will. Now a days lot of B- schools are providing programs and are encouraging business ideas from the students and also funding them. So incase if you have a good idea in your mind, a b- school might be able to help you. Premium B- Schools definitely encourage students to start their own firm and follow their passion and not run behind being hired by someone else.

I have personally seen lot of my classmates turning entrepreneurs and doing very well in their lives. I feel during these years when recession is a constant factor in our lives today, entrepreneurship is the rightful solution to cover up some of the unemployment phase.

Feeling AWESOME... after a long long time!!

The work keeps me going... after all my brain starts functioning in the right direction again ... honestly I am not a person who can stay limited to the household stuff. I need to work as well, be it small or big. I finally started on my own project and hopefully it will be out soon.. so details later.

I used to keep scratching my head all the time and think, "hey, I am not a person who can run out of idea!!??!!!", I used to feel really wasted.. now that I have one I feel so awesome and my energy levels are up too. :)

It's about the rush .....

I was watching Grey's Anatomy yesterday and the it was all about the large tumor that was called the "Beast of All Tumors".. loved the way Derek planned and took the tumor out successfully, which many surgeons declined to operate on. It was labelled inoperable tumor.

During the whole episode it was about dedication the thrill and excitement about your work and how you face new challenges everyday and you go through them. Everything that we do in real life we all have different stories behind it...  for me writing this is because I love expressing my thoughts in writing more than talking them out.

It was very inspiring to see how he got through it operating on it for almost a day. If you have the dedication to do something in your life and its right then automatically you will have followers. You do not have to run behind them. They will come behind you. Derek was supported by all this staff and everytime he failed he was picked up and was supported so that he could work on the tumor.

One thing is true, if something bothers you... Sleep on it and talk about it again later or next day.

Work and Home

Its becoming little hectic for me to manage home and work at the same time although its work from home and its fun coz I dont have to use maths its just about creativity. The more creative you are the more fun the job will be.

Online marketing job can be tedious at the same time fun. With the social media coming in picture marketing yourself is easy and difficult. Now I understand that your new business idea can be great but at the same time getting through in the eyes of other people is equally difficult coz not everyone thinks like you.

I am kind of enjoying my life right now as a write, working lady and a housewife. It actually forces me to get up early in the morning in order to meet my agenda for the day. I am learning something new everyday and I hope to be doing so for the rest of my life.
